Specifications:

Texoma TRA Series digger derrick auger is manufactured with 1” thick lower flight section, hardfaced, combined with 3/8” thick upper flighting section as standard. The auger stem is 3 3/4” O.D. C-1026 heavy wall tubing. Hex hubs are constructed of ASTM-148 cast steel. Standard teeth are TRT-1 & TWT-2 carbide blade teeth with a TPB-6 carbide pilot bit. All Texoma blade series teeth and 2 3/8” API Texoma pilot bits will interchange with this series of drilling tools.

Application:

Texoma TRA Series digger derrick rock augers are designed and manufactured to maximize the drilling performance of digger derricks in hard rock formations. The Texoma TRA Series digger derrick rock auger is best suited for solid (non-fractured) formations in medium to hard drilling conditions. Also excellent in stiff clays and shales. Recommended rotation speed 20 to 25 rpm.
